well..

created the PS2 HD space on my PS3..

got the 480p HD and  audio settings fixed up..

got the virutal memory card created and set for slot 1..

got the online settings set up... took two trys to get it to work...

see that there are 784 players in N. America online right now...

downloading a patch for the game....  to be continued...

Okay.. first game 3 instant tk’s from a team mate with a racist name... then I was kicked by vote.  Was not a good sign of things to come.

I never played SOCOM II as I was finishing up a game before I would play it... by the time I was able to get online people were rampantly cheating in every game.

Happy to say that I played another match of 4 vs. 5 and all of the players were cool.. no cheaters.  I had one good round where I was the last one alive and was able to eliminate their last two players for the win.

So looks like I will be online with S.O.C.O.M. II if anyone still has it...

I have the game still but I don’t have my network adapter nor hard drive installed on my Playstation 2 as I just don’t play it online anymore.

hmmm... if you ever hook em up... lol.
