At the time, the TRS-80 was the bomb! It did have the best graphics for the home market. I too learned programming as a kid. I think I made one of those Russion Roulette programs as well. I learned a lot from those hobby magazines 80 Micro. My dad was interested in programming back in the day and he got me into it. I knew more than him by the time I was eight...LOL.
My friends had Commodore PC’s. In school we used Atari PC’s, but I had TRS’s and Tandy’s for years. I actually did own an Atari ST PC...I was impressed with it Windows style GUI and MIDI options for music. I almost got an Amiga, but they kinda went bellyup and then I finally switched over to an IBM Aptiva, which I purchased from Radio Shack. I’ve had IBM clones ever since. Did y’all now that Radio Shack now sells consoles and some games now?
Trivia.....What did Tandy do originally before acquiring Radio Shack?
