Find a guild wars day on the calander for us gameaholica and we can get going. If you guys want to RP I hope we all have prophecies. If not we can still all do PvP together, however like I said before PvP has a HUGE learning curve, especially in 4v4 arena and we likely will lose almost all of our games (if not all of them). This is because people creature the "perfect" parties before going into 4v4 arena and just wipe the floor with everyone else.
The "perfect" team is usually 1 healer, 1-3 spiker(s) (somone who deals heavy damage in large packets), 0-1 degen or hexer (necromancer or mesmer who can basically disable a unit which is good for countering monks) 0-1 snare (somone who can snare an enemy to keep them to getting away)
Here is an example of a good teams builds.
Healer: www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build:Mo/A_WoH_Shadow_Monk
Spiker: www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build:A/any_Deadly_Arts_Spike_Sin
Snarer: www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build:E/Rt_Blinding_Surge_Snarer
Hexer: www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build:N/E_SV_Curses
For each class there is a basic idea for your role in a group that is usually assumed.
Warrior: Spiker / Snarer (High damage with snares for swords and stuns for hammers)
Difficulty: Easy
Monk: Healer / Protecter (Spells that heal allies and protect them from further damage)
Difficulty: Hard
Ranger: Versatile (Jack of all trades can do almost anything in a group, but not as well and is harder to kill.)
Difficulty: Moderate
Necromancer: Hexer / Degen (Great for shutting down units, especially melee)
Difficulty: Hard
Mesmer: Hexer / Degen / Canti Caster (Great for shutting down units, especially casters)
Difficulty: Hard
Elementalist: Spiker / Snarer (Very high damage output with some snares available)
Difficulty: Moderate
Assassin: Spiker (High damage output and can be harder to kill, also a great subclass)
Difficulty: Easy
Ritualist: Stuff (they are the main summoning class and do some crazy things as well, lots of buffs)
Difficulty: Hard
Devrish: Spiker (Insane damage with lots of self buffs, hard to kill without a mesmer or necro.)
Difficulty: Moderate
Paragorn: Spiker (Moderate damage and moderate range, harder to kill.)
Difficulty: Easy
I hope this helps figure out what roles you might want to play when we start doing TA (Team Arena). I use a Touch Ranger (Spiker / Self Heals but is melee), Spiker Ranger and a Degen Necromancer.
Also we should set up a Ventrillo server for those whom have mics. I know of a public one we can use if none of us have a server.
