What to use for voice? GSC, vent, etc?  If we use voice I want only for admins/mods to communicate about possible hacks etc.  Don’t need voice for everyone.

- AFK Mod

control how to manage players who are AFK. It works by tracking keyboard and mouse movements rather than in game player positions. The manager can be configured to work when a player is AFK for 1 Round and will be sent to Spectator. After 3 rounds of spectating, the player will be kicked off the server.

This is the enhanced script pack version of the original c4timer script which counts down the timer when c4 is planted. The script pack allows you to choose from a variety of voices and message options.

I’m too tired to go into detail, but most of those are easy to accomodate.

You can go through your own local sounds folder for some good ideas for starting sounds.  You can always switch them up as the mood strikes.

You may want to think over if you are going to do reserve slots/ paid admin rights, etc.  Knowing this stuff going into the setup makes things easier.

I see a lot of people are still wanting the gun game here and there.  You can add that as an On/Off selectable mod.  Maybe pick a night, advertise it, and turn it on ... at the end turn it back off with an rcon command.  Personally I like Gun Game: just not 24/7 on it.

Hey Knight..... how many maps should I put on a server ?  Is 20 okay, or does it matter ?  Also... as far as setting up the maps on this server for fast download, can I start setting that up ?

You can load as many maps as you want.  There are 2 files that help direct what happens with them.  You have a rotation file that pulls from your maplist file.  You can have 100 maps, but only 20 on the map list, and it works just fine.

I will talk to you about the proper structure and compression you will want to use to upload them to your site.  If you are using this site as the storage you will want to use http://www.gamershub.org/cstrike etc.  Your cstrike folder has to have the exact same structure as your cstrike folder on your hard drive.  Any file that has to be downloaded as a map would be in the cstrike/maps folder.  If there are sounds, textures, materials, etc you have to create the exact same directory structure.  You will also wnat to get a copy of bzip2 for the compression side of things.

hey Fear... what did you think of that mod today that let you see how many teamflashes, or flashing your self?  I liked it.  There was something else new there. . can’t remember what it was.

The teamflash stat thing was cool and I also liked the bomb countdown announcement deal they have.
