Quadrophenia is the second rock opera by The Who and was released in 1973. A film adaptation was released in 1979 and focuses on the many character, Jimmy, his life with multiple personalities, and the conflict between mods and rockers during the ’60’s in London. The name is a play on schizophrenia, which was, in the past, commonly regarded as the same as multiple personality disorder. Jimmy is divided into four personalities, with each one representing a member of The Who (Pete Townshend, Roger Daltrey, John Entwhistle, and Keith Moon)
