Yeah, when I first got my 360, I was running on a SDTV and everything sucked. Stuff looked good, but I couldn’t read a damn thing. I’ve since upgrated to a Samsung 50" Plasma and couldn’t imagine life without it =).

i backed off on playing games lately, im at like 102hours on lost odyssey since GTA4 came out, but then hammered some time into blue dragon followed by  lost planet lost colonies, a little eternal sonata.   taking a break lately though, watching anime and movies or playing with my wm6 smartphone and customizations.

definitly plan to pickup lost odyssey to finish up and probably just follow the order to finish up gta4 and blue dragon

I just finished Lost Odyssey at the 78 hour mark, and it was one hell of a ride.

If it isn’t my favorite RPG, it is definitely in the top 3.

I was getting back into LO, got halfway through disk 3 and put it down again. Final Fantasy Crisis Core called me back. Now I cant stop playing that. My boss isn’t at work today, so I even snuck my PSP in so I can close the door on my office and knock out a few more missions. =P

For some strange reason, I’ve been having the craving to play Mass Effect through a second time. I only played one playthrough as an Adept. I was thinking about going through as a different class and with all my decisions being towards coming off as a jerk instead of being a goody two shoes.

I stopped playing Lost Odyssey again as I was messing around on Crackdown on my gold live account. I was going to play some Lost Odyssey yesterday but when I took my Crackdown disc out of my Xbox 360 it had this big crack in the disc that it did not have when I put it in the console. Now my crackdown disc is junk as it can explode while spinning in the console and I don’t want to play anything else on the Xbox 360 since it cracked my disc while in the console. Out of all the consoles I own the Xbox 360 has by far been the biggest pain in the butt. For like 2 days I was getting E74 errors and a red light, the cache system on the 360 is a joke, and unless I’m hooked up to some form of HD playing newer games like Lost Odyssey is pretty much impossible. I said enough is enough and am now playing some of my other consoles. Chances of me finishing Lost Odyssey is very slim at this point. I’m going to get back into Final Fantasy XII once my game guide gets here as Final Fantasy XII is huge and playing without some form of guide is a mistake, IMO.

Wow, that sucks about your 360. Is it a launch unit? Its a big shame because Crackdown has got to be one of my favorite games out there.... until you beat it =/.

As far as FF12, I hate that one almost as much as I hate FF8. I’m a huge fan of the series, but those two were an abortion of the name, IMO. =)

Yes, it is a launch unit so I guess I’m lucky it has lasted as long as it has. I disliked Final Fantasy VIII when I first started playing it myself but over time it grew on me. As for Final Fantasy XII I can’t remember how many hours I have on it right now (over 20 for sure) and like Final Fantasy VIII I did not like it at first but it grew on me. The fact that there is no random battles rules as random battles can be a pain when you’re trying to find/do something. But anyway, I think I’ll just disconnect the Xbox 360 and trade it in on the new slim Playstation 2 that is said to be released in august here in the states. Nothing wrong with my Playstation 2 (fatty) but having a back up unit would be nice.

I was so looking forward to this game, but I just could not get into Lost Odyssey.  I never made it past the first disc.  I was just bored with it.  Oh well, on to something else now.

Honestly, it is a bit more about grinding and getting skills and combat for the first disc, with story slowly being eased into the game. At about midway through disc three, it goes full out story and gets real forgiving as far as getting levels and what not goes, and it gets really good. It’s worth trying to brave through the first disc.
