I know it is a PS game, but just curious if anyone here played it. I think at the time it was one of my favorite games. First game I new of where you were a vampire. Also thought it was cool that it had all these hidden things to try and find. I was not so crazy about the follow up games, they were not as good as part one.

I still have this game.  One of my all time favorites on the PSX.  Silicon Knights became one of my all time favorite developers since then.  I can’t wait for Too Human.

Kain: Vae Victus - suffering to the conquered.  Ironic that now I was the one suffering.  Not anything as pedestrian as physical pain.  Rather the cruel jab of impotent anger - the hunger for revenge.

I didn’t care if I was in Heaven or Hell - all  I wanted was to kill my assassins.  Sometimes you get what you wish for.
The Necromancer Mortanius offered me a chance for vengeance.  And like a fool, I jumped at his offer without considering the cost.

Nothing is free.

Not even revenge.

Check out this clip.  Simon Templemen and Tony Jay were my all time favorite video game actors.  It was sad to hear Tony Jay passed a way last year.

Was Tony the voice of Kain? Dude it has been sooo many years but when I read that I could still hear Kain’s voice in my head. I think it would probably rate is one of my all time favorite games, high in the top 10. Ok I just went to that link... man I never should have went. Now i want to watch all those videos, and find the game so I can play it again.

Simon Templemen was Kain, and Tony Jay was Mortanius and later the Elder God in the series.

Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain was for Playstation and PC only. I think gameaholica is thinking about Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver as it was released on Playstation, PC, and Dreamcast. Anyway, I still own Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain on the Playstation and from what I’ve played of it it’s a great game (I’ll finish it sooner or later).

Love the Kain games, especially the Soul Reaver branchoff.  Raziel was one badass mofo.  ;)

I have Legacy of Kain ISO’d on my PSP currently at the moment. =) Sadly I haven’t played it much since Final Fantasy Crisis Core came out, then God of War Chains of Olympus is up next.
