I have been using my 360voice blog (http://www.360voice.com/tag/SpeleoFool) to communicate and coordinate Saint’s Row boosting. The effort on that end is just barely getting off the ground, and I haven’t been giving people much notice yet (except to say "we’re started"). I’m going to continue posting things there, but will start to direct people to this thread also so that we don’t end up with communications in too many places. I like this thread because it’s a consolidated place to have a long-term discussion, but the blog comments on 3v may be a better means to reach some folks to let them know there’s an update.
As far as scheduling goes, Wednesdays are a good target, but there’s not really any one time that works best for anyone. I started putting together a spreadsheet of who can play & when they’re available. Most people can be on most days, but there are some difficulties in lining up what time of day we can all meet. 6-7 PST seems to be the best window, though some people can’t get on until later and others need to sign off before it gets too late for them.
I think our best chance of success will be to all make Saint’s Row a priority for the next few weeks and try to make matches happen whenever you see enough people online. Let’s target Wednesdays and Fridays as primary sessions, but if we can get more matches to happen inbetween that’s going to benefit everyone. And let’s try to get stuff started by 6 PST (or even earlier) and running until late. We do not need the same people the whole time, as long as we have enough people & the right mix of accounts!
I do think boosting up some "extra" accounts is going to be the way to go. Since 15 seems to be a ceiling for people playing against rank 1 tags, I think we’ll need at least 3 extra tags boosted up to 15 so we can have a couple 2 vs 3 sessions and see what happens to ranks. We’ll need to use clean boosting tags--accounts that have not lost any matches before--otherwise we’ll just have more trouble ranking them. Based on what we’ve seen, here are the types of accounts that will be involved in boosting:
primary account:
This is the tag you want to get the Kingpin achievement. These accounts should never lose matches!
kingpin account:
After you unlock Kingpin, your primary account will be a kingpin account. We can use kinpin accounts to boost up other primary accounts.
trash account:
These are extra accounts with gold status that will always lose.
boost account:
These are extra accounts with gold status that should not lose until they have reached rank 15. It is not yet known whether there’s any need for more than one tier of boost accounts (hope not!).

OK, now that we have some terms defined, we can use them to help coordinate matches. Here’s what boosting will look like:
Tier 1 Matches
participants: Primary accts (2) vs. trash accts (3)
result: Primary accounts will max out @ rank 15
Tier 2 Matches
participants: Boost accts (2) vs. trash accts (3)
result: Boost accounts will max out @ rank 15
Tier 3 Matches
participants: Primary accts w/ rank 15 (2) vs. boost accts w/ rank 15 (3)
result: Unknown; hopefully primary accounts can rank most or all the way to Kingpin
Tier 4 Matches
participants: Primary accts (2) vs. kingpin + boost accts (3)
result: Unknown; hopefully primary accounts can rank most or all the way to Kingpin

All above games should be Team Big A$$ Chains. The losing team should have one more tag than the winning team if possible, and there’s no reason we can’t try this with more tags (up to 5 vs. 6).
Until we get some tags ranked up higher, I don’t think we know what other types of matches we should have. Maybe after "Tier 3" matches we can go back to "Tier 2" to re-rank boost accounts? And we might be able to do primary vs. primary, although that makes me nervous until we know more about the effects of deranking from a high rank. We’ll know more in time....
I’ll be on tonight; hopefully Disbron and I can get out 10 wins in and rank up a bit, and we’ll start ranking other people or boost accounts with whatever time we have left over.
Cheers!
Speleo.
