After HOURS of talking on the phone with Microsoft and trying every fix I could find Fear Toxin from the website sent me a link that outlined issues and fixes. 

A little backstory.. Gears of War PC would not work at all for me... I was geting .16 FPS in this game.. even in the menu.

So I read the thread and there was a section for extremely low frame rates....  I followed the fix directions of going into msconfg and turning off all start up items and then trying the game.

To my surprise.. the game worked and ran very smooth.. didn't bother to see what FPS I was getting as I was to elated.... I didn't even finish the fix where I go back and turn one thing on at a time in the start menu to locate the program causing problems.. I left them all off.

I imediatly contacted Fear Toxin and we proceeded to play Co Op anc completed ACT I on Insane picking up all Cog Tags along the way....  The game was already a graphical achievement on the XBox 360... and looks even better on my PC.  I am also a better shot on PC with the keyboard and mouse.. but wonder if they took some of the punch out of headshots ?  Several times I wondered this during Insane gameplay as it would take me at least 3 more shots then usual it seemed; but eh, who cares when playing this great game.

Looking forward to Monday when Fear and I will take on the Locust Horde once again !!
