Day 2 Report
It’s a bird, it’s a plane…no it’s just Steve in a tight and cape. There was some teapot robot dancing a jig on the sidewalk on the Washington State Convention center and drawing a crowd. I saw Dante and Nero holding hands….no wait, twas just a couple in matching Devil May Cry costumes. There was some major cosplay today at the PAX. CyberViking and the Outlaw saw many of these strange human characters in foreign garb from some phantasmal realm of fiction. We remember the Outlaw running into Lady Croft yesterday.

What amazing personas did the Outlaw and CyberViking run into? Let’s see:
Some guy in the Gamer Army getting a fake tattoo at the Brothers-in-Arms tent display

Hmmm…does he look familiar?
Let’s take a closer look:

I know it’s a bad pic, but it’s our friend Fate It.

Why…here’s another Joe at the Brothers-in-Arms tent.
The also had a barber on hand. If you shaved your head, had them paint HELL on you bald scalp, you won a free copy of the new game. The game itself was on display at the Ubisoft booth, hosted by our friends the Frag Dolls, which we met last year’s PAX. I’ll discuss Ubisoft’s booth tomorrow.

The Horde!

Save the Princess! Take your pick!

Aargh!

CyberViking found the Velvet Assassin and then…

Oh no! The Outlaw has been taken hostage!

The 501st invaded!

??? You got me…is sure did draw a crowd.

Our friends at Vault 101.
CyberViking and the Outlaw wanted to share details with you about the Fallout 3 demo, but we we’re still trying to get into the presentation even after it started after 30 minutes. The place was packed and we had no luck getting in. Hopefully next year we can get press badges and give you the inside scoop by being able to enter the presentations early.
It’s Blades from the Southpeak Interactive booth!!
It’s YUFFIE!!
There were so many outragous outfits and displays, but I think this might have been CyberViking’s favorite:

The Beholder!!
The Outlaw tried to scavenge some more swag and score some major loot by entering contests for motherboards, graphics cards, 360’s, and some PS3, but alas he failed miserably in his most glorious efforts.
We finally got to try the demos for new LIVE ARCADE version of MAGIC the GATHERING. Sweet, but we’ll fill you in tomorrow with all the games CyberViking and the Outlaw got our hands on.
Tomorrow, CyberViking will tag out and let DRAGON play some of those awesome demos. Tomorrow’s report will just be games, games, and games…and some other rhetoric by yours truly, the Outlaw.
